District 5 Schoolhouse is a historic treasure located in Borculo, just north of Zeeland and 10 miles from Lake Michigan. Tin ceilings, chalkboards, and old books still find their place in this 3,500-square-foot schoolhouse. The main floor comfortably seats up to 180 guests with a large dance floor and buffet area. We have no restrictions on your choice of caterer, both food and beverage — a perk not many venues offer. On the lower level, you will find spacious groom and bridal lounges. The three-acre country setting offers plenty of room for outdoor ceremonies, yard games, or a cozy bonfire at the end of the night. Whether it’s bringing in a food truck or hanging twinkle lights in the windows, our goal is to help you create your day, your way.
